BioVana provides digital infrastructure, biobank management technology, and data services to hospitals, research institutions, and pharmaceutical companies to ethically source and manage African genomic and clinical data.
3. User Responsibilities
As a user of our platform, you agree to:

- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Use the data and samples exclusively for ethically approved research purposes.

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and proprietary algorithms, is the property of BioVana or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.
Please note: Data generating institutions retain full ownership and intellectual property rights over their respective clinical and genomic data.
5. Ethical Conduct
BioVana prohibits any use of its platform for research that violates fundamental human rights, lacks appropriate ethical approval, or circumvents informed consent protocols. We reserve the right to immediately terminate access for any user found in violation of these ethical standards.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall BioVana, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of our services.
7. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with international commercial laws, with specific adherence to the local jurisdictions of our primary operating hubs. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in those regions.
